Nearly 2,000 Poudre School District third-grade students from 72 classrooms will visit Colorado State University’s Agricultural Research, Development and Education Center on Wednesday, Sept. 26 and Thursday, Sept. 27 for Ag Adventure.

Ag Adventure provides elementary students a chance to engage in hands-on agricultural activities. A CSU student committee has developed six learning stations, each covering a different aspect of the agricultural industry. PSD third-graders will learn more about the impact of agriculture on their daily lives through learning experiences with soil and water; sheep; beef and dairy; farm to plate; safety; and many other important topics in today’s agricultural industry.

CSU College of Agricultural Sciences students and advisors will be available to talk with the media during the Ag Adventure events between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. both days.

ARDEC is located off I-25 north of Fort Collins, at 4616 NE Frontage Road.
