WHAT:  Colorado State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital is hosting an event with the Dumb Friends League, Focus Points Family Resource Center, Elanco and Clínica Tepeyac to provide a free pet wellness and vaccine clinic for residents of the Globeville and Elyria-Swansea neighborhoods from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6.

Veterinarians will conduct physical exams, vaccinations and spay and neuter surgeries. This is the fifth year that CSU has held an annual pet health care event in Denver to serve neighborhoods that do not have easy access to veterinarians.

As of Oct. 3, we are at capacity with appointments. No walk-ins will be accepted on Saturday. For more spay and neuter options, visit: www.ddfl.org/spayneuter

All services will be provided FREE of charge. Spanish translators will be available during the event.

WHO: CSU veterinarians and veterinary technicians will discuss pet health and your pet’s medical history. Rabies and distemper vaccines will be provided for dogs and cats.

Clínica Tepeyac clinicians and staff will provide free flu shots and health screenings for humans, including blood pressure and behavioral health assessments.
