The Patti Fiasco, Write Minded and Julia Kirkwood will take the stage this Homecoming Weekend during Stadium Sessions, the free outdoor performances by top Colorado bands before every Colorado State University home football game.

Instead of the usual Friday evening performance on the New Belgium Porch at Canvas Stadium, The Patti Fiasco will perform live on The Oval beginning at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, before the Homecoming Parade arrives.

Then Kirkwood and Write Minded play on Saturday, Oct. 13, as part of the Coors Light Ram Walk Tailgate leading up to kickoff against the University of New Mexico Lobos at 2 p.m.

The Tailgate

The Coors Light Ram Walk Tailgate, near the intersection of Meridian Avenue and Hughes Way north of the stadium, opens to the public at 10 a.m., four hours before kickoff. The Tailgate not only offers the Stadium Sessions performances but also games on TV and food, beer and wine for purchase. It is hosted by the CSU Alumni Association, Department of Athletics, and Division of External Relations, in partnership with the Bohemian Foundation and High Country Beverage.

This second season of Stadium Sessions has included performances by A.J. Fullerton, the Gasoline Lollipops, the Manabi Salsa Band, Whippoorwill, Lois and the Lantern and Guerrilla Fanfare.

All Stadium Sessions performances are free and open to the public. See stadiumsessions.colostate.edu for the full schedule and more information.
