Media Advisory: CSU President Joyce McConnell’s first Fall Address to be held on campus tomorrow

Note to Reporters: Parking for the media will be provided on Isotope Drive on the south side of the Oval. Media must arrive by 11 a.m. to park on the Oval, which will be closed to all traffic at 11 a.m. sharp. A mult box will be available. A media assets page with downloadable broadcast-quality video and audio and high-resolution photos will be available by 4 p.m. at source.colostate.edu/fall-address. WHEN:

Colorado State University President Joyce McConnell will deliver the annual President’s Fall Address Thursday, Sept. 19, on CSU’s historic Oval. The university community will gather at the Oval at 11:15 a.m. with the Colorado State University Marching Band. The program will begin at 11:30 a.m. on the west side of the Oval.

DETAILS:

McConnell will highlight Colorado State University’s sesquicentennial this year and focus on how the university can build a strong future on the foundation of CSU’s proud land-grant history of access to higher education. She also will discuss coming together as a campus community to address racism and promote equity.
