Apply Now for CSU Green Dream Team Student Research Funding

Funding is now available for Colorado State University student researchers with projects related to environmental and sustainable fields.

The Green Dream Team was established at Colorado State in 2008 to provide funding for qualified and exemplary students pursuing research, internships, or other opportunities for growth that focus on sustainability and global health and development.

Individual student researchers are eligible for $500 in funding support. Student research teams are eligible for $5,000 in funding support. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. on March 13, 2009.

Research projects already underway will be given priority consideration. Recipients will be announced in spring 2009.

Funding will be awarded to individual student researchers and student research teams working on sustainability and green energy projects within Colorado State University and abroad. A goal of the Green Dream Team is to attract students working in the field of sustainability nationally and internationally.

Green Dream Team funding will be allocated among applicants selected by an advisory committee. Student researchers and student research groups are asked to submit a brief description of their research project and its objectives to coordinator Holly Montejano at hollyej@simla.colostate.edu.
