George Seidel is a University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, and a member of the Animal Reproduction and Biotechnology Laboratory. His research focuses on in vitro fertilization and culture of mammalian embryos; this includes oocyte maturation, micro-manipulation and cryopreservation of embryos and oocytes, and is usually specifically related to cattle and horses.
Seidel received his B.S. from Pennsylvania State University. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. from Cornell University.
