Laura Bellows is an associate professor in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition. Her research focuses on nutrition education, public health nutrition, childhood obesity, early childhood audiences, health promotion and disease prevention, and physical activity. She is the 2011 recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers.
Bellows received her B.S. in exercise science and health promotion from Miami University in 1997. She earned her M.P.H. in human nutrition and her R.D. from the University of Michigan in 1999 and 2000, respectively, and her Ph.D. in community nutrition from CSU in 2007.
