Dr. Timothy Hackett is the director of the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital and a professor of emergency medicine. He led the Small Animal Emergency Department at CSU from 2001 to 2012. He is a Diplomate with the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
Hackett received his B.S. in zoology from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1984. He earned his D.V.M. and his M.S. in clinical sciences from CSU in 1989 and 1994, respectively. Hackett has served as the president of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and is the co-author of the textbook Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Procedures.
