Colorado State University has received $1 million to help fund horse-research programs. The money, donated by Jon and Abby Winkelried of the Marvine Ranch near Meeker, will be divided equally between CSU’s Gail Holmes Equine Orthopaedic Research Center and the Equine Reproduction Laboratory.
