“Predictions are that 2012 will be good, but maybe not quite as good as what we saw in 2011,” said Stephen Kootnz, a Colorado State University professor and economist who has been predicting commodity prices for 20 years. “We don’t expect to see commodity prices come down any time soon. But you just have to wait and see how input costs and the weather decide to play a part in the scenario.”
