Carol Dollard, Energy Engineer at Colorado State University, took us on a tour of their 30-acre, 5.3-megawatt solar plant. The project is one of the largest at a U.S. university, supplies one-third of the electricity needed for their sprawling Foothills Campus, and enables CSU to purchase electricity produced by the plant at a fixed rate for 20 years.
