“The announcement that it was found in three grid sections adjacent to the existing infestation area was great news,” said Whitney Cranshaw, professor of entomology at Colorado State University. “I was worried that this year we might find emerald ash borer in a wider area of Boulder — and perhaps in new locations in the state. But we didn’t.”
