Each semester, as the music appreciation coordinator at Colorado State University, Michelle Stanley teaches students all the dos and don’ts of audience etiquette, including when to clap and how to come in if you’re late. But with the rise in technology, the don’ts list is getting longer every day causing some groups to hit the Like button on phone use during performances.
