C2B2, as the center is being called, combines the biofuels and biorefining work being done at various companies with the expertise at the recently formed Colorado Renewable Energy Collaboratory, which is a collaboration between the University of Colorado at boulder, the Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
