The 2006 Cesar Chavez Day Celebration with the theme “A Tribute: Social Justice – Our Responsibility” is a prime opportunity for residents to educate themselves a bit about the history of Chavez and the roots of organized labor related to farm workers. Here in Fort Collins, which has a strong agricultural history, the celebration will be hosted by Colorado State University, the city of Fort Collins and businesses and nonprofits.
