Colorado State University scientists received a $2.8 million award from the Norwegian Research Council. CSU’s Applied Isotope Research for Industry and the Environment program and the Geological Survey of Norway will work with the Norwegian petroleum industry to date black shales, a source of hydrocarbons that produce oil and gas.
