Colorado universities want to drive new revenue with athletic success

“Bob Kustra absolutely gets it,” Colorado State University athletic director Jack Graham said. “He’s used football to leverage the success of the entire university.” Graham said the CSU leadership team must work with president Tony Frank to help solve the university’s financial problems. “(Frank) wants 5,000 more out-of-state students to come to CSU. How do you attract 5,000 more out-of-state students? In large part, the answer is athletics, successful athletics,” Graham said.
