A freshman from Provo High, Brandon Davies heard all the horror stories after he signed with BYU about what happens when the Cougar basketball team goes on the road in the Mountain West Conference. Some of them are actually true, he said Monday as the Cougars prepared for another game in front of a hostile MWC crowd. Surging Colorado State plays host to No. 16 BYU on Wednesday (6 p.m., The Mtn.) in Moby Arena, and the Rams’ largest crowd of the season is expected.
