A big win at Brigham Young in 1994 propelled CSU’s football team to its first Western Athletic Conference title, the two schools were co-champions in a four-way tie at the top of the WAC in 1995 and squared off in 1999 in Provo, Utah, in the first Mountain West Conference contest in any sport.
