After back-to-back 3-9 seasons, coach Steve Fairchild and the players in CSU’s once-proud football program were happy to be picked for a middle-of-the-pack finish in a preseason media poll announced Tuesday at the Mountain West’s annual football media days at the Red Rock Resort.
