There’s only so much a free safety can do during practice, when players are without their pads and forbidden from hitting one another. So, CSU junior Elijah-Blu Smith was thrilled Tuesday, when the Rams starting playing football again – wearing full pads and colliding with each other during a 2-hour, 20-minute practice on the fields south of Moby Arena.
