To curb that growth rate, Dr. Dean A. Hendrickson, an equine surgeon at Colorado State University, volunteered in 2005 with vets from Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Florida and The Zoological Society of San Diego to attempt a minimally invasive vasectomy technique.
