Except for a blip during 2009, dairy exports have been growing and this year the U.S. may send a record amount of dairy products to other countries, said Stephen Koontz, a Colorado State University professor and agricultural and business management marketing specialist, during the “Future of Alfalfa in Dairy Nutrition Workshop” at Fort Morgan’s Clarion Inn Thursday.
