In 2004, a volunteer group called the Economic Vitality and Sustainability Action Group offered more than 100 strategies to help the city of Fort Collins define and capitalize on its strengths. Those strong points include Colorado State University’s growing role in research, an active arts scene and the city’s vibrant entrepreneurial community, among others.
