The decline was not as severe in Northern Colorado, which has a competitive advantage due to technology advances coming out of Colorado State University and its focus on alternative energy, senior economist Gary Schlossberg said at Wells Fargo Private Bank’s annual Focus event at the Embassy Suites in Loveland.
