Six months after the tree-killing emerald ash borer was discovered in Boulder, Colorado State University, the USDA and the state agriculture department say that for people more than 5 miles from the known infestation zone in Boulder, there’s no need to use pesticides in 2014. But that doesn’t stop tree companies from trying to sell them to you.
