Colorado State University Extension in La Plata County will offer the Backyard Food Production series of 12 classes designed to help people grow and preserve food from 6 to 8 p.m. on various Tuesdays beginning May 1 in the Extension Building at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
