The Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow, or CoCoRaHS, network started as a Larimer County-based program aimed at detailing differences in precipitation amounts across large areas, said organizer Nolan Doesken, the state climatologist and an atmospheric science researcher at Colorado State University.
