Fort Collins was cited as a place that is generating patents at the rate of 11.45 per 10,000 people, or nearly four times the U.S. city average. The magazine also noted the presence of LSI Logic Corp., Advanced Energy Industries Inc., New Belgium Brewing Co. and CSU as contributors to Fort Collins’ “Fast City” image.
