Keli McGregor: Colorado roots ran deep


Rockies president Keli McGregor was a local sports star and sports administrator. He was found dead today in a Salt Lake City hotel room.

Born Jan. 23, 1962, in Primgahr, Iowa. He and his wife, Lori, have four children, daughters Jordan, Taylor and Landri, and son Logan.

Multisport star at Lakewood High School.

Played tight end at Colorado State University (1982-84) and was a two-time All-American. For a time he held CSU’s single-season record with 69 receptions in 1983. Earned his degree in microbiology.
