That explains why Chris Duran, Longmont United Hospital’s Trauma and Prehospital Program manager, showed up to donate about $600 worth of helmets and fit them to the first wave of kids participating in Colorado State University’s quiet grand opening of a Temple Grandin Equine Center satellite location at the National Western Stock Show grounds in Denver on March 17.
