Colombia’s environment, housing and territorial development ministry aims to submit a bill to congress mid-month that would create the country’s first law exclusively governing water resources, a ministry official told BNamericas. The ministry has been working on the bill for about two years, with support from a number of consultants, including Colorado State University professor Neil Grigg, said the official, who is connected to the bill’s drafting.
