More than half of registered voters in Colorado support the controversial gas drilling process known as hydraulic fracturing, even after many restricted the practice in three counties last month, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll. But John Straayer, a professor of political science at Colorado State University, thinks the numbers don’t take into account a crucial aspect of the fracking issue.
