Panel to discuss building green communities


The Colorado State University student chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council is sponsoring a panel discussion on “Building Greener Communities” from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday in Room A104 of the Clark Building on campus. Panelists include U.S. Rep. Jared Polis, D-Colo., vice chairman of the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition; former Gov. Bill Ritter, director of the Center for the New Energy Economy at CSU; Carol Dollard, facilities engineer at CSU; and Bruce Hendee, chief sustainability officer for the city of Fort Collins.
