“It shows among the Democrats there is an intense urgency to see some change,” Colorado State University political scientist John Straayer said. “I think the (difference in) participation levels will narrow by November, but that will still help Democrats on the ticket in Colorado. Now, by exactly how much is a little hard to say.”
