O’Meara, who works at the Colorado State University Extension, came up with the idea for the tasting and gathered the fruits — pumpkins are classified as fruit — from Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch, Anderson Farms, Munson Farms, Cottonwood Farm and Isabelle Farm.
