Earlier, Co-Chair of Auger North, John Harton of CSU spoke about the purpose of the project and how researchers believe in addition to unlocking the secrets of high energy cosmic rays, the research conducted will provide valuable educational opportunites for students from grade school through college for the approximately 25 year duration of the project.
