Rams look to get past Aztecs, break in Miles’ special scissors


Tim Miles can’t escape it. Everywhere he looks, everyone’s talking about how San Diego State’s men’s basketball team needs another win or two to get off the bubble and into the NCAA Tournament. So, when the CSU coach was asked after a closed practice Wednesday at the Mountain West Conference Tournament how San Diego State’s NCAA hopes might factor into today’s quarterfinal game between the fifth-seeded Rams (16-14) and fourth-seeded Aztecs (22-8, 11-5) he let off a little steam.
