Jacque Davisson was fired up, and so was the record crowd of 6,333 fans Friday night at Moby Arena. In fact, every player on CSU’s 17th-ranked volleyball team fed off the energy of an electric environment, fueled by more than 4,000 students, and used that momentum to defeat a good Duke team in four sets in the season opener for both schools.
