“This innovative technique analyzes important changes that take place in developing thunderstorms and will aid forecasters’ ability to warn the public of the hazards associated with severe thunderstorms,” said Dan Bikos, a research associate at the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
