Study says Colorado faces significant budget shortfall in future

When Charles Brown and Phyllis Resnick two years ago came out with a study on the long-term fiscal health of Colorado’s state government, the Colorado State University researchers likened the somewhat gloomy results to “telling people that they had to eat their brussel sprouts.” On Tuesday, the pair released an updated version of the study. And while there’s some good news to be found, in the long run, everyone should be prepared to eat a lot more vegetables.
