Carol Enright, chairwoman for the event, says Fashion Group decided to do the symposium because there are so many local designers in need of information on how to make it in the apparel field. “We need to grow the industry and do it locally,” says Enright, who’s also on staff at Colorado State University’s Department of Design and Merchandising.
