Temple Grandin: More research needed on how autism affects people’s senses

Temple Grandin, one of the first people to chronicle her struggles with autism, says there needs to be more research into how the condition affects people’s senses. Grandin, who is a professor at Colorado State University, will be in Montreal to address the Current Trends in Autism conference on Wednesday. She will also participate in the launch of the See Things My Way campaign sponsored by the Miriam Foundation to raise awareness about autism across Canada.
