Bill Gray and Phil Klotzbach, forecasters with Colorado State University, are finishing work on new analysis of steering currents 15,000 feet above ground to predict the probability certain areas of the nation will be hit with a major hurricane. That probability, along with an updated prediction of the number of storms, will be released May 31.
