“Most people associate Mother’s Day with giving their mom a gift that is ever living,” said Alison O’Connor, horticulture agent for the Larimer County Colorado State University Extension Office. “It’s a great way to kick off the season and a great way for our nurseries and greenhouses to kick off the season, as well.”
